The venue was the NH Hamburg Horn Hotel.

167 participants from 25 nations enjoyed the full program with four parallel tracks including 3 keynotes, and about 84 paper presentations, symposia and posters.

The IMTA Steering Committee unanimously endorsed the nomination of Dr Martin F. Wiskoff for the 2014 Harry H. Greer Award.

The Steering Committee was very pleased to accept two new IMTA members:

  • The 'Swedish Defense Recruitment Agency' represented by Rose-Marie Lindgren, Chief psychologist
  • The 'Danish Defense Personnel Organization - Recruitment Branch' represented by Svend-Erik Olsen, Psychologist, Team leader

The conference also included warm and well attended social events: a ‘Meet and Greet’, the IBTA and the traditional banquet at the NH Hamburg Horn Hotel. A guided tour to the city and the harbour after the end of the conference made the week outstanding.

Günter Kreim, Jens Kowalski and their team did an excellent job to make the 56th IMTA conference a memorable one. Well done everyone!
