The 59th Annual IMTA Conference was held in Bern, Switzerland from October 9th until 13th, 2017 and was hosted by the Swiss Military Academy. The venue was the Mezenerkaserne in Bern.

147 participants from 26 nations enjoyed the full program with up to four parallel tracks including 3 keynotes, 5 symposia, 93 paper presentations and a number of posters.

The IMTA Steering Committee endorsed the nomination of Lieutenant Colonel Dan Watola, Ph.D., for the Harry Greer award. The Steering Committee was also pleased to accept two new members: The National Defense Forces Department of Employee Selection and Development – The Psychometric Centre (Greece) as primary member and MIND Academy (India) as associate member. Congratulations to both!

The conference also included warm and well-attended social events: a ‘Meet and Greet’ at the Mezenerkaserne, the IBTA in the Champions Lounge of the Stade de Suisse, and a wonderful banquet at the Zentrum Paul Klee. Four optional tours concluded this marvelous week.

Dr Hubert Annen, Ms Nadine Eggimann and their team did a fantastic job to make the 59th IMTA conference a professionally rewarding and personally enjoyable experience.

Thanks and congratulations to everyone!
